A Scottish Burn in the Cairngorms National Park near Aviemore

A Scottish Burn in the Cairngorms National Park near Aviemore.

The burns are running well at this time of year, still a bit of snow melt coming off the higher mountains. A great time of year to be out in the hills of Scotland.

The warm Spring Weather has now melted most of the snow and there will only be a few Ski Days left on Cairngorm Mountain. I came across this burn (stream) while walking in the Eastern part of Cairngorm National Park.

We can assure you of hot and cold running water if you stay at Creag Mhor or Lochan Mor Lodge, it will be a lot more comfortable than camping out in the mountains.

Great Self catering accommodation at the Heart of the Cairngorms National Park, Aviemore is situated pretty much right in the Centre of Scotland, ideally placed for exploring the immediate area and day-tripping to the surrounding areas.

You will find lots to do, walk, climb, cycle, fish, golf, ski, snow board, cultural and family activities. Whisky tours and wild life tours are available, a full spectrum of activities.

Come and stay at Creag Mhor or Lochan Mor Lodge, great self catering accommodation.
