Paddling across a burn on the Cairngorm Plateau Walking from Cairngorm Mountain to Ben Macdui

Paddling across a burn on the Cairngorm Plateau Walking from Cairngorm Mountain to Ben Macdui.

A great family adventure, a trip across the Cairngorm Plateau in good weather from Cairngorm Mountain to Ben Macdui, the second highest mountain in Scotland. We paddled across this fantastic mountain stream on the plateau, on a great day out.

Take a break in the Cairngorms National Park and enjoy all that the area around Aviemore has to offer.

Great Self catering accommodation at the Heart of the Cairngorms National Park, Aviemore is situated pretty much right in the Centre of Scotland, ideally placed for exploring the area.

You will find lots to do, walk, climb, cycle, fish, golf, ski, snow board, cultural and family activities. Whisky tours and wild life tours are available, a full spectrum of activities.

We can assure you that if you stay at Lochan Mor Lodge, it will be a lot more comfortable than YHA accommodation. ( Not that there is anything wrong with YHA, if that's what you want )

For some great photos of the area and things to do and see visit cairngorms scotland.blogspot and scotland.blogspot
