Walking in the Cairngorms National Park in the Central Highlands of Scotland

Walking in the Cairngorms National Park in the Central Highlands of Scotland.

A great time of year to be out in the Cairngorms National Park, you don't have to go high to enjoy walking in the area. We were just just North of Grantown on Spey here on a day you would not have wanted to be out on the tops.

Take a break in the Cairngorms National Park and enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Great Self catering accommodation at the Heart of the Cairngorms National Park, Aviemore is situated pretty much right in the Centre of Scotland, ideally placed for exploring the immediate area and day-tripping to the surrounding areas.

You will find lots to do, walk, climb, cycle, fish, golf, ski, snow board, cultural and family activities. Whisky tours and wild life tours are available, a full spectrum of activities.

We can assure you that if you stay at Lochan Mor Lodge, it will be a lot more comfortable than YHA accommodation. ( Not that there is anything wrong with YHA, if that's what you want )

For some great photos of the area and things to do and see visit cairngorms scotland.blogspot and scotland.blogspot
