Trees in Glenmore Forest Reflected in the River flowing into Loch Morlich

Trees in Glenmore Forest Reflected in the River flowing into Loch Morlich.

There is a lovely walk around Loch Morlich near Glenmore Lodge, in the mountains just outside Aviemore. The Loch has a wonderful fresh water beach and fantastic views. A great area for walking.

May and June are often the best time of year to get out and about in the Highlands of Scotland, some great weather and still a bit of snow on the mountain tops.

You will find lots to do, walk, climb, cycle, fish, golf, ski, snow board, cultural and family activities. Whisky tours and wild life tours are available, a full spectrum of activities.

We can assure you that if you stay at Lochan Mor Lodge, or Creag Mhor you will have a very special holiday.

For some great photos of the area and things to do and see visit cairngorms scotland.blogspot and scotland.blogspot
