On the Edge of the Cairngorms National Park, Bruar Falls in Northern Perthshire

On the Edge of the Cairngorms National Park, Bruar Falls in Northern Perthshire.

Spectacular, the Falls of Bruar, waterfalls which can be seen within a short walk of the House of Bruar, a very popular "stop" on the A9 between Perth and Aviemore. Lots of people stop without realising that these magnificent falls are only a short walk away up a beautiful glen. This area is also the historic home of Clan Donnachaidh.

Clan Donnachaidh include Robertson, Reid, Roy, Roberts, MacInver, MacLaggan, Tonnochy, Stark, Duncan, Duncanson, MacConnachie, Inches, Collier, MacInroy, MacDonachie, MacRobert, Donachie. There is a clan Museum at Bruar, which is worth looking at, whether you are a clan member or not.

We can assure you that if you stay at Lochan Mor Lodge, or Creag Mhor you will have a very special holiday.
