The Isle of Skye Bridge from Kyle of Lochalsh your Gateway to the Isles.

It looked mysterious but the weather cleared as we travelled over the bridge to Skye and we had a wonderful time on Skye and Raasay.

Our Midnight Summer Solstice Bonfire on the Isle of Raasay just off Skye

Our Midnight Summer Solstice Bonfire on the Isle of Raasay just off Skye.

We had a great trip to Raasay, 4 days hiking and camping. This was our bonfire at midnight on the beach at the summer solstice. We collected muscles at low tide and baked them, fantastic Scottish Sea Food, fresh and at it's best. Wild camping and wild food.

Mid Summer Midnight Bonfire on Raasay just off the Isle of Skye in Scotland.

A wild, stormy night but we celebrated the summer solstice on a beach on the Isle of Raasay with a big bonfire and baked muscles straight from the sea. Scottish Sea Food at it's freshest and best.
