A great place for walking, especially on windy days when it is not so pleasant out on the exposed mountains, you can enjoy the forest and perhaps see capercaillie. We saw one not far from this spot.

This is a view above Glenshee in the Eastern Part of the Cairngorms National Park, where you can easily climb several "Monroes" in a day. We had a lovely clear day, ideal for walking and the ground was dry.

Walking in the Cairngorms National Park can provide endless stunning Views. You feel like you are on top of the world strolling along the ridges among the mountain tops. Get out there and enjoy it.
